11:53 pm - Couple weeks went by?
When was the time I posted? I know its been awhile. Well, I know there's lots of subjects to cover, but I'll do that later. I'm done with school for the semester, hopefully I passed my Biology class. My plans for June is to take a summer math class that I need. Also, hopefully I'll have a job so I can go down to Phoenix at the end of the month.

Yeah, I'm not where I thought I would be at right now. Here I was hoping to have a job so I could give some money to those 2004 graduates I know, to have some money to pay for some bills, and to be going to Casa Grande for the annual Arizona Republic 1A-3A North vs. South All-Star basketball game. A couple of the senior's from the team were chosen to play in it. I think that coach was also selected to coach the North team. Lets hope the North wins. Last year the South team won, and most of the people on the team were from the undefeated Globe team.

Anyhow. Tomorrow is Holbrook High's graduation. I got a hair cut yesterday, and it turned out alright. I don't know if I should dress up, or semi-dress up for tomorrow. I don't even have a graduation card to give. That's it so far. My mom said she's going down to the valley this weekend. So, I'll get another boring weekend to myself. Damn, I really want to see Kill Bill vol.2 The weather was great this evening. I hope it stays that way tomorrow night. Usually its windy for graduation night. That's it for now, so I'll end it here. (Sounds like I was just ranting in this post.)

11:55 pm - A thought that came from "Kill Bill Vol. 1"
Just some thoughts here. I'll go into more detail about this in a later entry. While I was watching "Kill Bill vol. 1" several weeks ago where the part where the japanese dude makes a comment about O-Ren being a half breed, it made me think about myself and how I was treated growing up. As mentioned, I'm only 3/4 (75%) Navajo, and damn proud to be navajo. It made me laugh when O-Ren sliced the guys head off, and I thought what if I did that to every navajo person that ever made a comment about me being only three-fourths navajo? Heh.

O-Ren Ishii (Cottonmouth)

You're O-Ren Ishii! Twisted and homicidal, you respect most people, but let them know not to mess with you. You have a talent for sensing danger, and keep only the most loyal and skilled people around you.

11:35 pm - The end of "Friends"
Tonight I watched the ending to the hit NBC show "Friends". I don't watch the show; in fact I've only seen a couple episodes over its ten year run. I did watch the last couple episodes. Watching some of my fav shows on ESPN ("Around the Horn"), some of them were saying there was nothing special about the show, and who cars that its ending. Some of the same sentiments were shared on "Pardon the Interuption." I don't know what to say about that. heh.

Maybe its good the show ended, the cast was getting money greedy. Just like the voice cast of "The Simpsons." The other day on the news they said Fox renewed the show for another four years, and that the voice actors/actresses got their way of being payed 250 thousand dollars an episode. One show that I'm definately going to miss is "Fraiser". I've been watching that show since I was in 7th Grade I think it was. I love that show. I love the humor in it. I think that "Fraiser" has been on longer than "Friends" has. Kelsey Grammar who plays the good Dr. Frasier Crane has been playing that character for a little over twenty years now. One of the characters I like is Fraiser's ex-wife Lilith. Haha, she's cool.

Don't worry, I'll go on about "Fraiser" more next week. As I was watching Jay Leno, he was saying that they were going to sell the DVD of the last episode of "Friends" next week on Tuesday. When they went to break, he was right. There was an advertisement for it. Damn, that was quick. I wonder of people are going to have the "Friends" shakes now that its not going to be on any more. (Kidding.) Anyhow, good bye to you "Friends" for entertaining those people who watched it over the last ten years.

11:45 pm - Catching up with things
I didn't know there's only about three weeks left of school for me. I didn't know that my Biology group's presentation on Panspermia is due in about a week. Shit, I hope I pass my Biology class. This past Friday Veronica and I met at Jessica's house to do some research for our final. I don't know why we had to choose Panspermia of all things to do our project on. We spent almost three hours finding some stuff for project. I think we made some good progress.

Yesterday night in class, Jessica was in a bad mood and decided to take it out on me. During break, she was asking Erin (one of our group members) if she can meet with us again so we can get this thing out of the way. I asked Jessica if she gave Erin and Meghan the outline she was typing out when we left her house on Friday night. That's where she begins to take her anger out on me. She said that I didn't do a damn thing the entire time I was there, and that she did all the work. She went on about how she had to pick me up, etc, etc. She then quickly added that she had a bad day, and I cut her off right there. "Then don't take your anger out on me then--shit. I did my part and worked, remember? Remember, I spent over half and hour reading that book on panspermia, and Veronica did her part also and read a lot. Remember, you had me search for more sources online? Also, I didn't ask for you to cook those chicken fingers. If you recall, I said I wasn't hungry and you made them for you and Veronica."

Yeah, it got ugly. She didn't say a word. She left the room and I left also. Outside I found Veronica and told her how she blew up at me, and mentioned to her the things she said about me and her (Veronica). After class, our entire group met in the library, and Erin nominated me to write the introduction and conclusion to our 8-10 page paper. Of course, Erin had to blurt out "M_____ said he's going to write the introduction and conclusion." Jessica looked at me and said "Oh, so you're just going to do the easy part huh? Figures." I was going to do whatever they wanted me to write. Now that makes me look like I'm a lazy person. Oh well, who gives a fuck. This weekend on Sunday our group is supposed to meet again at her house so we can get this thing done with. I guess I really have to stay home this weekend then.

My mom told my sister she would come down this weekend to the valley and help her move into her new apartment in Mesa. My mom asked if I wanted to go along, and I said I'd think about it. My sister works at the Harkings in Tempe, and she was going to hook us up with some free movie passes to see whatever we wanted to see. I want to see "Kill Bill vol. 2" with my mom. The other week I asked my mom if she wanted to watch it, and we did. (Not sure if I already mentioned that.) She enjoyed it. That of course was my third time seeing it since renting it that one Sunday the other weekend. Seems like I need to just say I like the movie and jump on that bandwagon there. Javier was asking what I thought about it, so I said what I thought about it. Heh, guess he wasn't expecting my over analysis of the movie. (jk.)

I don't know. I still have mixed thoughts of the movie. Most everyone thinks you need to see volume one in order to watch volume two. Not true. In other news, former ASU and Arizona Cardinal Pat Tillman died last Thursday in Afghanistan. I remember that news story well two years ago when I was a senior in high school when Mr. Tillman gave up a 3.2 million dollar contract with the Cardinals to join the Army Rangers. On one of the valley news stations, they ran a list of all the people who died in war that's from Arizona. One of those people was a 2001 grad from Holbrook High--one Spc. Specner Karol.

I had Spencer in my English 11 class that year. He was retaking a semester of it. I believe I remember him saying that he wanted to be a ranger also. When they ran that list, they didn't show Spencer's picture, just a name. They showed pictures of Lori Piestewa, and a couple others that the valley media did lots of stories about them. Sports Illustrated is going to feature a story of Pat Tillman.

In lighter news, former Connecticut stand out Diana Taurasi was in Phoenix getting some pictures taken with her new team, the Phoenix Mercury. The Mercury had the worse record last season of 8-26 overall. Hopefully with Diana, they'll do better. Diana will go back to Connecticut this fall to get her degree. Wow, the Yankees got swept by the Red Sox. I didn't pay attention to sports last week, so I had no idea that the Red Sox were playing the Yankees again. I mean, didn't they play them several days earlier in a series? I was watching my various sports shows on the valley news stations, and on ESPN about the series.

Tom Zenner from the NBC affiliate in Phoenix said something that made me laugh the other night. He says "Alright people, we're offically on a George Steinbrenner suicide watch." Derek Jeter got booed by the fans. He's in a slump, he's currently 0 for 25 at bat. (I'm not sure about tonight though--they played the A's and won. I didn't get to catch the sports highlights of that game.) The people on Sports Center on ESPN did a comparison between Alexander Rodriguez's former team the Texas Rangers. Texas was at 11-8 overall, and the Yankees were at 8-11 overall. The big thing they were stressing is that the Red Sox are now 6-1 against the Yankees. They were saying the last time that happened was back in 1913 I believe they said. So much coverage on this.

This show on Fox Sports Net called Fox Sports Across America, Curt Shilling said in a nut shell that no matter how much money the Yankess spend, its not going to help them. Moving on. Monday afternoon I was watching the USA women's softball team take on the number one ranked Arizona Wildcat softball team. The second inning I was watching was good. This Wildcat girl hit a home run off former Arizona pitcher Jennie Finch. That rarely if ever happens to her. I'm not sure who won. If the Wildcats won, I think they would have been like 45-1 overall. (Assuming that game counted for anything.) Oh yeah, new big story is how Richie Sexson for the Diamond Backs hit a 503 foot home run in a shut out game against the Cubs last night. The ball hit the jumbo-tron thing and broke a couple of the screens on it. The D-Backs will look for the sweep tomorrow night.

I didn't catch the baseball game at the high school though. I hope they beat....Blue Ridge I think it was we were hosting. I'll try and watch our home game with 4A Coconino, assuming they didn't cancel that game. I'm not sure if our baseball team is going to make the state tournament this year. Damn AIA for their realignment. Once again, the Winslow Bulldogs have won the North conference regular season title with a undefeated 7-0 record. Since my senior year, this makes it Winslow's third consecutive season winning the North conference title undefeated. I'm not sure how they did back when I was a junior when Winslow moved to the North. (Same with softball. They finished undefeated.)

The Bulldogs hosted Window Rock last Friday and beat them 10-0 to get the win. The Lady Bulldogs also shut out Window Rock 5-0 I believe it was. Window Rock boys finish the season as the No. 2 seed going into the regional tournament being hosted by Winslow this week. Damn, Winslow hosted the regional tournament last year. Hold is somewhere else. Well, Vargas Field is pretty nice. So far the team to beat in softball is the Lady Lobo's of Snowflake. They only have one loss on the entire season. I think they can win it all, just as long as Seton Catholic doesn't win again. If Snowflake don't win, I hope Winslow does.

Speaking of Window Rock--my friend Lea, a 2001 graduate of Window Rock High, told me a couple weeks ago that Asa had his baby. When she first told me Asa was going to be a daddy, I was surprised. Anyhow, I'll end it here for now. Until next time, I'm out.

11:50 pm - A Pretty Good Day
Sleep was so good last night. That was probably the most decent sleep I've got in the last several nights. Yesterday the doctor has given me some medication. Turns out my cold is due to an ear infection, and that's why I can't pop my ears, and the constant sinus headache I got. I woke up aroud 6:30 this morning. I got ready so my mom could drop me off at Circle K so I could catch my bus to Flagstaff. Since I have very little cash left, my mom had no choice but to give me forty dollars so I could buy my round trip ticket. I felt so bad that I made my mom waste money on me. For some reason, I feel like I'm such a burden to my mom. Yesterday evening when we got home, she was saying something out loud, and I felt like that comment was directed towards me.

Come to think of it, I've felt that I've been a burden to my mom for awhile now. I guess that started when I was a senior in high school during the second semester when she had to take lots of time off from work to run me over to Flagstaff for various doctor's appointments, making sure I was fine. (Long story to that.) There's so many more reasons why I feel like I'm a burden to her, and mostly everyone, but I'll get into that some other day.

Anyhow, she left and I bought my ticket. Ten minutes later I see the bus pull up and I went outside. The driver saw my ticket and asked where I was going. I told him my destination was Flagstaff, and he took my ticket and told me to wait outside until they were ready to leave. Just then a bunch of police cars arrived and parked on the side of Circle K. I went over to see why everyone was congregating to the side of the store, and the cops were trying to put some handcuffs on a drunk navajo man. He was resisting them, and finall they were trying to load him into a car. I left and didn't want to watch anymore of that. For some reason I was wondering if the people from the bus were thinking that's all natives are is drunks.

Finally it was time to get on the bus. A black bus driver told everyone to get back on, and I was a bit confused. The bus driver that took my ticket was a fat white dude. One of the passengers asked "What happened to that other driver?" to the black guy. I went to the bus and saw that there was another bus right behind it. Both buses were said they were going to LA. Odd....I didn't even notice that second bus. I guess that one came while everyone was watching the police do their thing. It was good there was two buses going in the same direction--the one I got one there was almost no one in there, so I had an empty seat to myself. I slept all the way to Flag. Arrival in Flagstaff I called a cab, but it never came.

There was another taxi sitting in front, so I caught that one. Shit, it wasn't even worth taking a cab to FMC...fucking thing cost me $5.25 when I could have easily walked. I got seen really quickly at the blood lab, and it took about 25-30 minutes at radiology. I hope all is fine with my knee. After that, I just killed time and walked back to the bus station. I was all finished with my stuff at FMC before 10:45. It was a nice walk back to the bus station. They were doing one of those prescribed burns on Mars Hill, and of course all the smoke was right at the bus station. Breathing that smoke reminded me of the Rodeo-Chedeski Fire back in the Summer of 2002 when I would go out at night to run.

I went to Jack-in-the-Box across the street from the bus station and ate some lunch and took my pills. I tried to kill some time there also. I sat there drinking my lemonade looking out the window and people watched. My psychology teacher had told us one time to go out and do that at a mall, or wherever there is a lot of people. Across the street there was a native guy and girl, about late 20's I'll say. I don't know if they were husband and wife, or boyfriend and girlfriend. I got the sense that they weren't cousins or brother and sister for some reason. The guy took off his left shoe and rubbed his foot, and put his shoe back on. He did the same with the other foot. Next a white dude came out of the bus station with another guy, and they were having a smoke.

I couldn't tell of the other guy was native or not. He looked like he was a skater. It was around 11:20 when I left Jack and walked across the street to the bus staion. I stood by one of the entrance to the bus station, and stayed outside for a bit. I was behind the native guy and girl, and I couldn't tell if the two natives were navajo or not. The guy looked like he could be half navajo and half hopi. The other dude having a cigarette was native afterall. I kept looking at him, because he resembled my friend that killed himself back in August. My late friend was half Zuni and the rest was a mix of some plains natives.

This dude looked half navajo, and maybe half zuni. My second guess was he could be half navajo and half mexican. At the time, I was on the phone with someone and got off nearing noon. I got in line at Gate One and the started reboarding people who had reboarding tickets. Next came us who had a regular ticket. I noticed that the native dude was getting on the same bus as me. Since I didn't get in line early, I was at the back of the line, and that meant there wasn't going to be any good seat available. I got on the bus, and sure enough that's what happened. As I was standing in the aisleway, I saw the native dude had an extra seat next to him, so I tapped on his shoulder and asked if I could sit next to him.

He got up and moved his back pack off the window seat and I sat there after moving his Gatoraid bottle. I sat down, and the seats were reclined. "Damn, its hard to get comfortable in these seats," he said to me. I laughed at that. For my own knowledge, I just had to ask him if he was half navajo. Here's how that went.

"Excuse me, but are you half navajo?"
"Yeah."
"You're half something else...let me guess...you're half...Zuni? Right?"
"No."

Before I could make my second guess at him possibly being half mexican, he answered that for me.

"I'm half mexican."
"Ah, I thought so. You look it."
"How about you?"
"I'm three quarters navajo, and one quarter white."
"So, you're half navajo huh?--"
"--Yeah, three quarters--"
"--What's your other half?"
"I'm one quarter white."

Hmm, I guess he didn't hear me when I said I was three quarters navajo. I should have said that in fractions or in percent. I asked what his clans were, so he told me. He said that he very recently found out what his clans were, because this navajo girl he knows is traditional, and wanted to know his clans just to make sure she wasn't related to him. "I see, so you don't speak navajo huh?" I asked him. He shook his head. "Nope. Very little. I speak very little spanish also." He then asked my clans and I said all four of them. I don't know why, but I always feel like I have to explain why I say all four of my clans.

"Me, I have to say all four of my clans, because if I just say my first two, people assume that I'm just a half breed." I said to him. He gave me an odd look as if to say "I thought you were a half breed?" He laughed and said "For real?" He then asked about my first clan. "Ashiihi--that's Salt clan, right?" I nodded my head and he said that's the first clan of that girl he mentioned to me. So, who ever this girl is, I would be related to her, because she would be my sister by clan. Next I asked his age. I stared at 22, and he shook his head. I started to go lower until when I got to 18 and he nodded his head at me. Wow, the dude didn't look like he's 18 years old.

I told him that, and he said some people tell him that. He asked my age, and I told him. I also told him people say I look older. "Yeah, I thought you were a whole lot older," he said to me. I told him the oldest someone told me I look is thirty, which is true. He said the oldest someone thought he looked was twenty-three. So from Flag until I got home, we talked about a lot of things. He said he lives in the valley and works there. He said he dropped out of high school with only one month to go before graduation. (I didn't ask why.)

He told me his interest in music and he said he's a b-boy. All of a sudden that reminded me of how Brandon was talking about those one time in one of his entries, and I wrote about one of those in my entry back in October when I was recalling how I unoffically met Brandon at the Navajo Nation Fair. (This is assuming if I am right about what b-boying is. Also, I apologize if I wasn't supposed to hyphenate "bboy.") He asked if I b-boy, and I said I don't. I said "I think my friend mention that before. I know my friend talks about his DJ friend doing that. My friend is a DJ also."

"For real? These 'DJ's,' are they well known ones, or...?" he said as he trailed off. When he said "DJ's" he did that quotation marks thing with his hands. "Umm, I don't know if you know who they are, but one of them, his name is DJ Abel," I said to him. The look on his face said it all: he knew who I was talking about. He got excited and said "Holy shit, you know Abel?!" "Not directly, but he's from my area, and he's my friend's friend." I answered. "Well, what's your friend's DJ name?" he asked me. Sorry Brandon, but I didn't know what to say, and so that's what I told him. "Umm..I don't remember, but his name is Brandon Benallie, he's from Crownpoint."

He thought about it, and said he didn't know who you were. The native dude said he sorta knows Abel, and that he's talked to him before, but he didn't think Abel would remember who he was.

"Yeah, Abel was down there in Phoenix this weeked doing this gig--"
"--Yeah, the Spring Bling--"
"--Yeah, that's it. Shit, I wanted to go and check out Abel, but the thing was a 21 and over gig. That sucked."

He said that he's seen Abel in person several times, and mentioned he hears Abel's stuff on this one Gallup radion station. He talked about Abel's skills and how much Abel is a pro at what he does. He told me that he scratches sometimes, and he entered a battle one time, but when it was his turn to battle, he froze and forgot his stuff and lost. He asked if I scratch also, and I said I don't. He showed me some of his art work, and this dude is talented yo! I was amazed at his art work. It puts my art work to shame. LOL.

"But yeah man, that's tight you know Abel. He's from Window Rock, right?" he asked me. "Yeah, from Ft. Defiance." I answered. He said he was on his way back to Farmington to visit his dad, and then he was off to Albuquerque for the Gathering of Nations. I mentioned that Abel was going to be there doing a show, and he said he was going to check that out. He asked how did I know about that, and I said I looked at Abel's wensite. (Which I recommend you all check out.) From there, we talked about music some more, talked about movies, and the people he knows from Farmington, Kirtland Central, and Shiprock High. I asked if he knew Devin Manning that played for Kirtland Central, and he said he does. He was saying if Devin won state this year, he'll have four championship rings.

He didn't know if the Kirtland boys won state or not, so I informed him that they lost in the semi-finals to Deming in overtime by about five points. At one point when he was telling me a story about how he went from going to Farmington High to Kirtland Central, he said his name. When we got back to Holbrook, I gave my e-mail, etc, just because. I was waiting for a ride when the bus driver said for everyone to get one. "Well dude, I gotta get going now. Laterz," he said he he shook my hand. "I'm Javier," he said as we shook hands. I was gonna say to him "You already said your full name when you were telling me about this one girl you know."

I didn't bother saying my name, because I wrote it on the piece of paper I wrote my e-mail address and number on. I told him to keep in touch, and he said he will. As the bus drove away, I could see Javier from the window and he made a piece sign at me, and I did the same also. Who would have thought that my boring day would turn out to be a good one, and in the process make a cool new friend? I got home and took some stuff for my sinus headache and took a nap before class. Class was alright. Labs took forever. Jessica drove me home and said our group was going to meet at her house on Friday afternoon so we can start on our group project.

And that was my day. Pretty good in my opinion. I hope Javier got to his destination alright. Anyhow, I'm so tired, I'm going to crash now. Until next time, laterz.

11:50 pm - Happy 420
Alright, today was my doctor's appointment. It went alright. Not much to say other than I have to go back to Flagstaff tomorrow. After my appointment, I needed to get some blood work done, as well as an x-ray on my right knee. Back on January 17th when we had our away non-conference game with Chinle, I was running up the stairs in the community center, and I almost fell down the stairs, but I avoided that. However in the process, I did miss a step and my right knee hit the edge of the concrete step. Intense pain.

Anyhow, I asked the doctor why it still hurts. My knee only hurts when I kneel or sit on my knees. The pain feels like I just now hit it. He said that I could have cracked my knee cap, and if that be the case, I'll need surgery to fix it. Shit, that's all I need. Getting back to what I was saying, the blood and radiology lab was closed at FMC, so I need to go back tomorrow to get my stuff done. My mom told me she couldn't take another day off from work, so looks like I'll have to ride the Greyhound bus to and fro Flagstaff before class.

The bus leaves from here at 7:45 in the morning, and arrives sometime after nine. After that, I'll have until before 12:15 p.m. to get my stuff done. The bus leaves Flag at 12:15, and gets back around 2:05 p.m. Moving on. Today is 420 day. A day where all pot users celebrate for some reason. I remember my friend Tom back in junior high got all happy about 420. I started to read an article about that in the Gallup Independent, but I haven't finished it yet. I finally bought some Tylenol Sinus for my head ache. I read an entry by Brandon's friend DJ Abel, and I felt for the guy. The things he wrote about in his entry I went through recently. So I posted a comment, and it looks cheesy advice, but hey--I'm just trying to help someone.

Anyhow...I'm getting real sleepy, so I'll end it here for now. Until next time.

11:55 pm - Monday Stuff
My Monday wasn't all that good. I've had a sinus head ache for the last couple days, and it seems nothing can make it go away. I haven't been able to pop my ears either. Tomorrow is my doctor's appointment, and it couldn't come soon enough. Today is my brother's birthday. He turned six today. Damn, has it already been six years already?

Now that really makes me feel old. I missed a little over half an hour of Biology today. My mom, dad, and little brother went to Flagstaff for his birthday, and I tried to call Jessica for a ride when it was nearing 5:30, but all I got was voice mail. Lucky for me my mom came home and I got a ride. I was so lost in class, I had no idea what was going on. I told Jessica as she drove me home that I tried calling her, and she looked at her phone and said there was no missed calls on her phone. She asked if I knew her number, so I said it. Well, turns out I got all the digits right, except for the last one. It should have been an eight rather than a seven.

Good thing I didn't leave a voice mail huh? Other than that, nothing else going on. I feel like crap though. Anyhow, I'm going to sleep. Happy birthday my little brother!

11:56 pm - Weekend Stuff
Man, I'm really drained. I think I'm catching a cold, however I do not want to believe that, because it's the middle of April. I forgot this weekend was the goofy ASU Pow-wow in Tempe this weekend. For some reason I'm living in last week, and I've been telling everyone "Oh, its next weekend." I looked at the calendar and realized that it was this weekend, and next weekend is the goofy Gathering of Nations in Albuquerque.

Lets see, yesterday the Red Sox beat the Yankees 5-2. They showed a lot of clips from that game on the news, because former D'Backs pitcher Kirt Shilling took to the mound in that game. They mostly showed the clips of Alexander Rodriguez and Derek Jeter getting all mad because they struck out. Here I was predicting a sweep of the Yankees, however the Yankees won today 7-3. Moving on.

Finally--I rented "Kill Bill" today. I've been waiting for a copy of that movie all week from the rental store. Anyhow, the movie wasn't all that to me. It wasn't all the hype my friends had been making it to be. It started out all cheesy 70's style. Camera angles were cheesy. Especially that weird 70's sound effect every time Uma Thurman's character looks at one of the assassination squad members and has a flash back to her wedding. Quintin Tarintino does have a foot fetish.

Oh, cheesy anime sequence also. In a way, some of these fight scenes reminded me of how certain anime's are. Things are blown out of proportion, and overly dramatic. Examples would be the fight scene when Uma's character goes to Tokyo. Like that 17 year old japanese girl--that Gogo character. She has those stereotypical japanese school girl uniforms you see in different anime's. That symbol she had on her coat pocket reminded me of the same symbol Yuzuriha Nekoi's character had on her coat pocket in CLAMP's "X". It was cool though seeing Lucy Liu, a chinese woman speaking Japanese.

I don't know. Maybe I should have taken the advice of Ebert and Roper and see "Kill Bill Vol. 2" first, then see the first one. Overall, its was an okay movie. I'm not sure if I want to see the second one or just wait until it comes out on video. Might as well see the second one. Tarintino movies are just odd. I didn't like "Pulp Fiction." Have you ever seen Quintin on late night talk shows, such as Jay Leno? I was telling my friend Josh I think he might have MS or Parkinson's. Everytime you see him, he can't sit still. He's always moving around.

Anyhow, I would go more into my thoughts on "Kill Bill", but for now I'll just save it for my next post. At least I finished some of my Biology crap. Anyhow, I'll end it here for now. Later.

3:07 pm - Take Me To Window Rock
Yup. Its late afternoon on another windy day here. I really want to see that game tomorrow. Tip off time for the girls game is set for 5:30 p.m. (DST) at the Field House. In my opinion, the Arizona teams have a lot of talent on their side. Hopefully both Arizona teams will come away with the win. So, anyone want to drive me out there and enjoy a fun evening of basketball? Damn, I have nothing to do tonight either. Looks like another fun evening at home. More later on tonight.

11:45 pm - Holy Crapper & Tax Day

Today is when your taxes are due. Luckily I don't have to worry about that just yet. Anyhow, its been a while since I last posted. Not a whole lot going on school-wise. Well, I now only have one class to worry about. I no longer have to get up early for my English 102 class. Right now, I don't feel like going into the details of that.

This just isn't my week. For several days now I've been feeling a little ill. My throat feels odd also. Tonight before I ate my dinner, my friend Brandon L. gave me a call. To say the least, he dropped a bomb shell on me, and my reaction to him was "Holy shit dude!" Again, at this point I won't go into the details of that. Uhh, I'm not sure how to feel at the moment. Its been real windy as of late. Typical for this area around this time of year.

Saturday I want to go to Ft. Defiance to the Field House so I can check out the Arizona vs. New Mexico basketball game. Its the best players from Arizona and New Mexico for both boys and girls playing against each other. Back when I was a senior, they had a series of games like that and it was called the "Tour of Legends." Last year they got rid of that and had a one time meeting between the two teams and called it the "Arizona vs. New Mexico Friendship Ambassodor Game." What a gay name for that. Last year I did see that game in Gallup at Gallup High School. It gave the chance for college to recruit some talent there. Last year in April, the then new NPC men's coach was there, and he signed some good talent to play for us.

During the season, I was read all season long about these two guys who played for Tohatchi who I was hoping that the coach would try and recruit. While watching that game last year, they were as talented as the papers made them out to be. So when I found out that coach got Miles Bitsoi and Thomas Mayes to sign with us, I knew that our next season was going to kick ass. I was also told that coach got this dude Roderick Nez from Ganado to sign with us. I guess the new coach saw that natives know how to hoop it up very well. Tishina (one of the navajo girls on the NPC team last year) said that he signed a couple move native guys for the team, but she couldn't remember who they were. I wonder if coach had signed Jeremy Lewis, this navajo dude that played b-ball for Gallup last year?

Anyhow, this year they're going to have two of those Arizona vs. New Mexico games. The first game is this Saturday in Ft. Defiance, and the second one is going to be on May 8th at Gallup High School. I would really like to see both games. So, if anyone is willing to take me out there this Saturday, I'll pay for gas. Anyhow, I'm going to end it here. Until next time.

(Oh yeah, the term "crappers" I got from Brianna during the season. She doesn't like to cuss, so that's one of the words she liked to say was "crappers.")

11:35 pm - Damn You Connecticut Lady Hukies
Yep...that's says is all as well. Since I had no class or anything like that today, I was getting ready to watch the big rematch of last year's national title game. Last year, the Connecticut women won their second consecutive national title over Tennessee by a final of 73-68. Lets go back into history for a moment.

The Lady Huskies won their first national title back in 1995 with a win over Tennessee, completing a undefeated season of 35-0 I think it was. (Not sure.) From there, the Lady Vol's won three consecutive titles from 1996-1998. With their win in 1998, Tennessee finished off a perfect 39-0 season. I'm not sure who won the national title in 1999, but I do believe it was Notre Dame. In 2000 Tennessee and Connecticut would face off again, this time Connecticut blowing out the Lady Vol's by a final score of 71-52. In 2001, the Lady Huskies lost in the Final Four to Notre Dame 90-75. Again, I'm not sure who won the national title in 2001, but I think it was the Notre Dame girls again.

The Connecticut girls in 2002 would win the national title by beating Oklahoma 82-70, and finishing a perfect 39-0 season, just as Tennessee did back in 1998. That must have been Connecticut's season. The Lady Huskies won their ninth consecutive Big East title that season. I don't like Connecticut. I was so glad last season when the Villanova girls beat Connecticut in the Big East Championship game. With that loss, that snapped Connecticut's 70 game winning streak. They almost had their winning streak ended early when they had a come from behind overtime win against Tennesse. They beat Tennessee in a non-conference game in OT 63-62.

The Final Four last season, the Texas girls nearly took down Connecticut. That was such a close game. Connecticut survived Texas 71-69 to once again take on Tennessee for the national title. This season, Connecticut wasn't the bad ass team they thought they were. During the season, they lost to Duke (68-67), Notre Dame (51-66), Villanova (59-56), and Boston College in the semi-finals of the Big East Tournament; 73-70.

With that said, Connecticut was 4-0 in championship games coming into this one aginst Tennessee. Pat Summitt is something like 65-18 in the NCAA Tournament. (I believe that's what her NCAA Tournament record was.) Now that's pretty damn good in my opinion. The game started out alright. Both teams played pretty evenly, but Connecticut slowly started to take a lead. Blah. The second half Tennessee cut the Huskies lead down to five before Connecticut had another double digit lead. Tennessee wouldn't go quietly. They once again cut their lead down to one point. That's where the game got interesting. Here I thought Tennessee was going to finally take the lead, but they couldn't get anything going!

To say the least, Connecticut beat Tennessee 70-61 to win their third consecutive title, matching what Tennessee did back in the late 90's. Now Connecticut is 13-6 against Tennessee I think the ESPN people said. After the game ended, one of the ESPN reporter's asked Pat Summitt if she's getting frustrated that they can't beat Connecticut, and she said she wasn't. They asked Geno Auriemma what he said to Pat Summitt after the game, and he said that was between him and Pat. Connecticut finished the season 31-4, and Tennessee drops to 31-4 with their loss.

Connecticut is the first school in NCAA D-I history to win both the men's and women's national title for basketball in the same season. So, congrat's to them. With that, the college basketball season is now over. Well, time for bed. I got my class early in the morning. Oh yeah, hush Mick. I know you're going to rub this in my face. =P Anyhow, laterz.

11:53 pm - Damn You Connecticut Huskies
Yeah, that bascially says it all right there. I was in a bit of dilemma, because the men's national title game was on at the same time I had my Biology class. So, I was hoping that we would be let out early so I could watch it. I set the timer on my VCR to record the game. During break from Biology, I went into the writing lab and checked on the score, and Connecticut was up by four points. No big deal, right? Class was mostly over mitosis/meosis stuff, and I think I understand it now. (I think anyhow. heh.)

Anyhow, class did end early and Jessica was kind enough to give me a ride back home, however I think she's getting tired of doing that for me. (That's just my assumption.) Anyhow, it was half time when I got back home, and Connecticut seemed to be in control of the game. The second half of the game was mostly all Connecticut. Georgia Tech did make a bit of a run toward the end of the game, and cut Connecticut's double digit lead down to single digits. No miracle though--Connecticut has won the 2004 NCAA Men's National Championship. Crap. Now my only hope lies with Pat Summitt and the Tennessee Lady Volunteer's. Tennessee--please, please beat the Lady Huskies. Help Pat Summitt win her seventh national title. Ruin Diana Taurasi's hopes of ending her college basketball career with a thrid straight national title.

Show Geno Auriemma why he once called Pat Summitt and the Tennessee women's program the "Evil Empire." Well, that's it for now. I'll let you know how things turn out in the women's game.

11:50 pm - Women's College Hoops Stuff
Not much went on today that I care to write about. Tonight I watched the Women's Final Four. The Minnesota-Connecticut game wasn't what I thought it was going to be. Coming into this game, this made it Connecticut's fifth consecutive final four appearance, a NCAA record. Connecticut won, and the Lady Huskies will go for their third consecutive NCAA title. The last school to do that was the Lady Vol's (1996-1998). When they won their third straight title in 1998, the Lady Vol's finished with a perfect 39-0 record. No one could match that until Connecticut did it in 2002.

Man, once again Tennessee won in the final seconds of the game. LSU really gave Tennessee a fight. In the closing seconds of the game, LSU had just in bounded the ball. They were going to run some time off the clock, and the LSU girl didn't even get past the three-point line when the ball was stolen by Tennessee's Shyra Ely (I think it was) and she made the game winning lay-up. Tennessee is heading back to the championship game. So folks, it’s going to be a rematch for the national title on Tuesday night. Hopefully Tennessee will win this one. Well, that's all I can think of to write for the moment. So, I'll end it here. Laterz. Oh yeah, isn't it cool that it's 4-4-04?

11:45 pm - College Hoops Stuff
Where have I been? Seems like its been awhile since I last posted. Anyhow, I guess this post is going to about the NCAA Tournament. Today was the men’s Final Four in San Antonio. All season long, everyone has waited for this moment. The first game I watched was the Georgia Tech-Oklahoma State game. I really didn't know who to cheer for, since I don't know much about either school. Eddie Sutton, the head coach for Oklahoma State would have been the oldest coach (he's 68) playing for a national title had the Cowboys won their game against the Yellow jackets. Yup, Oklahoma State couldn't really get anything going, and Georgia Tech is going to play for the national title on Monday. This is Georgia Tech's first time in the Final Four since 1990 I believe it was, and this is the first time in their schools history that they will be playing for the national title.

It would have been cool if St. Joe's had made the Final Four. The next game was the one of more interest to everyone I think. It was between the Duke Blue Devils and the Connecticut Huskies. I don't like Connecticut, so of course I was going for Duke to win. Man, this game was awful. The ref's called so many fouls, it made the first half of the game boring. It was good that U Conn's Emeka Okafor got two fouls on him in the first half, because head coach John Calhoun (Connecticut) had to take him out, allowing Duke to have an advantage. Mike Krzyzewski (Sha-shef-ski) and his team did a good job. Of course, in the second half, Duke blew their lead, and U Conn came back. Duke didn't score in the last four minutes of the game, and they tried to make a come back, but couldn't accomplish that. Duke's Chris Duhon in the final seconds shot the ball a little past half court, and made his shot. Of course, there was no more time left in the game, and Connecticut took down Duke 79-78. Odd, but this was the same score as when Duke beat Connecticut in the Final Four back in 1990. Damn Connecticut. So, your National Title game is between Georgia Tech and Connecticut.

Georgia Tech already beat Connecticut during the regular season at the Pre-Season NIT, where Georgia Tech beat U Conn by 16 points. Of course, that was such a long time ago, and hopefully Georgia Tech can pull it off again.

Now to the women's hoops! Its been a pretty wild tournament for them also. The women's Final Four is all set and I'm ready to watch it tomorrow. The Tennessee Lady Vol's are the only number one seed left in the Final Four. Tomorrow's Final Four from New Orleans is going to be Tennessee taking on LSU, and Connecticut against Minnesota. Some upsets happened during the last week and a half. Minnesota knocked off the Duke girls to get to the Final Four, and ended Duke's Alana Beard's very great college basketball career. She has to be one of the best players in women's college hoops. Connecticut had no real problem getting back to the Final Four. Connecticut was challenged by UC-Santa Barbara in the Sweet 16, but they got their act together in the second half and won. (Connecticut beat Penn State to get to the Final Four.)

LSU pulled the upset and took out Jodi Conradt and the Texas Lady Longhorns in the Elite Eight. From there LSU beat fellow SEC rival Georgia to get to the Final Four. The Lady Vol's must be destined to be in the Final Four. Out of the last two games the Lady Volunteer's played, they won it by a combined total of four points. In the Sweet 16, Tennessee took on the Baylor Lady Bears and man what a game that was! I'm pretty sure this is the first time these two schools were playing each other. Baylor head coach Kim Mulkey-Robertson was saying that she knows she can't out coach Pat Summitt, but she said they would try to out play Tennessee. The game was close throughout.

Nearing the end of the game, it was all tied up 69-69 with Tennessee in possession of the ball. With less than ten seconds left, one of the Lady Vol's cut through Baylor's defense and missed her lay up! Another Lady Vol tried to tip the ball in, but didn't go. Tennessee's Tasha Butts grabbed the rebound (I believe it was), and tried her luck at making the winning basket, but a Baylor girl blocked her shot, and time ran out. It looked like the game was going to go into overtime, however that was not the case. One of the ref's said the Baylor girl made a foul and they went to the monitor's. Once the ref's made their final call, they had both Pat Summitt and Kim Mulkey-Robertson come to the scoring table, and you could see from the reaction of Kim Mulkey that the call was not in their favor.

The ESPN people calling the game reviewed the tape, and one of the Baylor girls did make a foul, but there was only 0.2 seconds left in the game. Come on! Why would you call a foul with only 0.2 seconds left in the game? So, Tasha Butts (I believe it was) went to the line and made both her free throws. Baylor had no chance to win this one. Baylor in bounded the ball, and Tennessee won 71-69. Pat Summitt said that's not how she wanted to win the game. She said that was a poor call on the ref's part, and Kim Mulkey echoed the same thing in the after game press conference. She and Pat Summitt thought the game was going into overtime, but once the ref's called both of them to the scoring table, the ref said there was a foul. With that, Tennessee moved on to the Midwest regional final against Stanford.

Earlier in the season, Stanford hosted the Lady Vol's where Tennessee would win in overtime against the Cardinal. Stanford advanced to the Elite Eight by a game winning three point shot from Kelly Suminski to beat Vanderbilt. Stanford pretty much led Tennessee in the first half. The second half is when the game became a battle. Once again, the closing seconds of the game--its all tied up 60-60 with Tennessee trying to make a game winning shot. Tasha Butts, with 1.7 seconds scored in the lane to give the lead to Tennessee 62-60. Butts was being guarded on the left block by All-American Nicole Powell, when Tasha Butts spun to her right and threw up a right-hander, which banked off the glass and fell through.

I of course was rooting for Stanford to win. So you could imagine what I felt when Tasha Butts made that shot. Stanford and Tennessee would both call time outs, and Stanford set up a nice play. Kelly lobbed the ball all the way down the court to the waiting Nicole Powell, Powell was being double teamed, but she managed to shoot a three pointer, but it didn't go in. For a moment I thought it was going to, but once it fell off the rim, it was over. Tennessee wins 62-60. Great game, but I was hoping that Stanford would win. Last time the Stanford girls were in the Final Four was in 1997 I think it was. So, the Lady Vol's are now 30-3 overall. I believe they said that Tennessee is 7-0 against SEC (Southeastern Conference) opponents in the NCAA Tournament. So, tomorrow's Final Four should be a good one. As I said, I'm hoping that Tennessee wins it all this year. I hope Minnesota pulls the upset and takes down Geno Auriemma and Lady Huskies. Well, I think I'll end it here for now. Laterz.

11:50 pm - April Fools Day
Last night before I went to bed, I was watching "Family Guy" on Cartoon Network, and it was at 3 a.m. They were showing the replay of the one that showed when the "Adult Swim" part of Cartoon Network comes on. As I was watching the episode again, I noticed that they drew in mustache's on the characters. I was wondering why this was happening, then it hit me: April Fools Day.

It wasn't anything special today. I wouldn't have even remembered about today if weren't for them people at Cartoon Network putting fake mustache's on the character's of "Family Guy" throughout the entire episode. My day was fine. I woke up very late at 1:05 this afternoon. (I didn't mean too.) It was cloudy all day, and when I did my new usual routine of walking down to Safeway each night after 9 p.m., it started to sprinkle. Yeah, each night after 9 p.m., I go down to Safeway and buy the Gallup Independent to read.

Anyhow, I got the local paper, the Gallup one, but my mom didn't get the Navajo Times, so I'll have to wait on that one until tomorrow. Nothing else going on to report. I was right, the Holbrook baseball team shut out Alchesay 12-0 under the mercy rule. Holbrook will go over to play Round Valley, and then on Saturday they make the long road trip down to Globe to play them in non-conference. The Final Four is going to be on Saturday, and the women's Final Four is on Sunday. Should be some exciting games to watch. Too bad the Stanford men aren't in the Final Four. Anyhow, I'll end here for now. Laterz.

11:45 am - Still Tired...
Well, I got out of class almost an hour ago. I survived it. haha. Anyhow, just as I said when I wrote before class, I was going to get a head ache from my lack of sleep. I did. Man, sitting through class was tough. We had to do a in class writing assignment, which was doing a poem explication. Going through my book, I chose a Robert Frost poem.

To say the least, my thought process wasn't at 100 percent. It was hard doing that poem thing. I was just too tired. I still have a lot of stuff to do today. I'll take a nap after 1:00 p.m., and wake up in about an hour. After that, I need to study that mitosis thing for Biology, because we're having a quiz on that today. I'm glad we're doing labs today, however labs is about mitosis, and I took notes and all, but I still don't understand it. So, I need to open my book and read about it.

Damn, I need to write a science article also. I hate school. haha. I don't know why I'm even going to school in the first place. haha. Anyhow, I'll end it here. More later on.

7:50 am - Too Early
Man, I am so damn tired. Its too early in the morning also. I'm here at school. My mom dropped me off early, so I'm just being in the writing lab until my class starts at 8:30. Shit, I just want to go back to sleep, and wake up around 11:30. haha. Wednesday is so far the only day that I don't like, mostly because I have to get up so early for class. How did I manage during the summer when I had to be up before 5 a.m. each morning to go to the gym?

I know I need to go back to the gym, for the obvious reasons. I know later on in class, I'll probably get a head ache from a lack of sleep. I went to bed very late last night, and its my own fault. I'm probably not making sense here. Well, not much been going on this week. I can't believe the week is just flying by so fast. Damn, I keep saying this, but I miss Albuquerque. Yesterday is was warm, but not hot. I wore a long sleeve shirt when I was walking down to the high school to go watch the baseball game. We were hosting Alchesay, and I got there around 4:30. Just as I got there, the announcer said "And that's your ball game folks. The Roadrunners will next be in action on April 2nd when they travel to take on Round Valley."

Damn, the game ended early under the mercy rule. Oh well, at least the baseball team shut out Alchesay 12-0 I think the score was. Nothing against the baseball and softball team, but they need some work! With the baseball teams win, they are now 3-9 overall. Over the weekend, they hosted Camp Verde and lost, and they traveled over to Winslow on Saturday where they lost yet again to a always tough Bulldog team. That makes it three times this season that the baseball team played against Winslow. I think the softball team also won. If they did, then their overall record would be 8-17.

Anyhow, I'll end it here for now. More later.

11:35 pm - My Tuesday
*This was hand written, because my sister was on the phone for nearly five hours.*

Today was alright. My day started with getting up really early. We (my mom, sister, and I) all went up to the college. My mom and sister had their English 101 class to attend, while I went over to my English teacher's office. Outside her door is her schedule posted up. As I was looking at that, her door opened, and she was scared because I was standing right there. It was funny in a way. I asked if the guest speaker was still going to be there, and she said he was. (I asked, because I didn't get up early for nothing!) The speaker's name is Sherwin Bitsui. As I mentioned, he's a 1993 graduate of Holbrook High School, and recently had a book of his poems published. The book is called "Shape Shifts." (I'm not sure if that was one word or not.)

Since I didn't know which room she was in, I asked her as she was stopping by the front office. I walked over to Video Class II, and sat down. Of course, I was the first one in there. I know that one of the navajo girls I graduated with was taking that class, so it was going to be good to see her. They had some problems with the video thing. As they were trying to work it out, Mr. Bitsui came in, and Crystal (girl I graduated with) came in right behind him. So I talked to her for a bit before class got started. The only thing I brought with me was my cell phone. Something reminded me to turn off the ring tones of my phone, just in case.

Mr. Bitsui read some of his poems, and it was odd the way he read. The way he read reminded me of how a medicine man says his prayers. Mr. Bitsui did say he likes to read his poems loud, and in a kind of chanting way I think he said. Anyhow, he also talked about how his book got published, where he's traveled to, etc. He asked if anyone wanted to ask him some question's, so I did. I asked what he thought of Luci Tapahanso's work. Luci Tapahanso is a navajo poet, and she teaches at the University of Arizona. He got done speaking at 10:30, and I said "bye" to the people in that class. One of the girls from last semester was in there, and this guy I took English 101 with was in that class also.

As I was walking down the hallway, the teacher and Mr. Bitsui walked by, and Mr. Bitsui said to her "I think one of your students is trying to run way on you." She then told him I wasn't in her class, but a different one. He then said "Thanks for coming today," to me, and I responded by saying "yes" in navajo to him. Haha, I bet he didn't expect that. He probably thought I was a non-navajo person. My mom was waiting in the hallway also. She said they were let out of class at 10:10, which is early for them to be let out. After I got home, I walked over to Safeway and bought the Monday Gallup Independent paper before they got rid of it and put today's edition out. Later in the afternoon, I walked with my sister to the public library. I was trying to find the recent old editions of the local paper to see what the baseball schedule was.

I was certain that baseball team was going to host Chinle in a game. I like using the computers at the public library. They have four brand new Dell ones, and it's a whole lot faster than mine at home. (Mine still runs on Windows 95 yo!) So I checked out the high schools website, and it did say that Holbrook was hosting Chinle for baseball and softball. The game was to start at 3:30. I was also checking out some of the other community college websites that are here in Arizona. I finally found out what happened to this guy the Navajo Times had made such a big deal out of last year. Last year in May I think it was, the Navajo Times put out their spring player of the year, etc. For the Player of the Year, they gave it to this navajo guy that pitched baseball for Page High School. His name is Troy Butler, and it said that he can pitch a ball at 95 mph, and that he signed his NCAA Division I letter of intent to play for Arizona State.

I was surprised I guess you would call it. Who has ever heard of a navajo guy pitching baseball for Arizona State? For those who don't know, Arizona State has a very good baseball program. When I read the article, I thinking that the boy has a good head on his shoulders for picking a good program to play for. But of course, he, like most natives that play on the college level always do something to screw it up. Some examples would be this girl that played for Tuba City. She's a 2002 grad, and she signed to play basketball for Dixie College in Utah. Dixie has a very good program for women's b-ball. The girl got herself pregnant, and didn't play. I could go on, but I won't. Anyhow, I was looking at the Yavapai College website, because last week on Friday, the news stations did a story of how four of the mens basketball players were kicked off the team.

Yavapai College is a community college located in Prescott, Arizona. One of those guys that were kicked off the team, he played for NPC last year. From what I gathered from the news story, two of the players were harrassing this girl that lived in their dorm, and they were told not to bother this girl. The other two were at the wrong place at the wrong time. All four of the players were arrested, and were kicked off the team. The news said this was bad for the team, because the team is heading for the NCJAA tournament in Kansas yesterday. After I checked out the basketball section of the Yavapai website, I looked at the baseball part. And there I found Mr. Troy Butler.

I guess my question would be, why did he not play for Arizona State? Why choose a stupid community college to play for, and not choose to play with the big time school such as ASU's program? I mean, I think the article in the Navajo Times said that Pat Murphy (baseball head coach) personally wanted Troy Butler to play for him. I still have that copy of the paper, and will have to look at it later. Anyhow, I guess I think its goofy that he's playing for Yavapai, instead of Arizona State who has a good shot at playing in the College World Series this year. I can't get that off my mind though. I mean, here you are, offered a great scholarship to play baseball for a very good program, and have the chance to play in the Pac-10, and play against other good programs from across the country, and you decide to be stuck up and choose a community college, all the way in isolated Prescott, Arizona to play for.

I beleive the best baseball program to play for in the community college here in Arizona would be Central Arizona College in Coolidge. When me and the NPC team traveled down to play Central, at half time of the mens game, they honored the baseball team for winning the NJCAA World Series. (Central's athletic programs are the best, especially the women's basketball, track and cross country, and the above mentioned baseball program.) Anyhow, I'm sure there are reason's why Troy Butler didn't play for Arizona State. Hopefully he will get the chance to pitch for them. Keeping on the baseball theme, at around 4:20, I went to watch the baseball game at the high school.

They didn't have the scoreboard up, so I had no idea which inning it was, or who was winning. The Chinle teams brought their traveling buses. They look cool. The bus is all black, it says "Chinle Wildcats" on the bus in gray letters. They have a wildcat on the bus. One of the buses on the front at the top has "Chinle Wildcats" in gold letters, while the other has it in gray letters. Anyhow, the game was pretty good. It was nice outside. Very enjoyable. I think Holbrook won. I heard someone say that the Holbrook girls won their game. During the game, I saw some of the track team members leaving their practice. Some of them were some of the guys from the basketball team. After the game was over, I went home.

Before I left for the game, I checked the caller ID and noticed that there were some calls from the high school. I will assume it was the coach trying to get a hold of me. By then, I think it was too late to call and see if it was him that tried to call. There was no message on the answering machine, so I'm not sure who it was. So I didn't go to the banquet. I don't think I would have missed much. I just hope they didn't decide to give me an award or something for being a volunteer this year and helping out. If they did, I'm going to kick myself for not going.

I've been stressing over my English 102 work that's due tomorrow. I'm making myself get a stomach ache over it. I think I'll skip going to class tomorrow morning so I can study my Biology stuff. I'm looking forward to after my test tomorrow. For me, technically my spring break would begin. I think I might go to Albuquerque on Thursday. I told a friend of mine I would go out there and visit. But, I need to finish that damn English work. Well, I'm very tired, so I'll end it here for now. Later.

11:30 pm - The Ides of March
Today is the Ides of March. For those of you who never read this Shakespeare play back in high school, the Ides of March is referring to Julius Ceasar on the day where he was told that he was going to be killed. Anyhow, not much went on today. I went to Biology class, even though I didn't need to. Jessica, and a couple others were there, and got in some notes that I needed. This woman in our class, her name is Veronica. She seems very smart, and seems to understand this stuff very well.

I xerox some of her notes so I can study them later. Man, there's so much to worry about this week. First off, I really need to write my Essay 2 for my English class. I'm not sure if the research paper is due this week or not. Man, I've never been more nervous right now. I'm making myself get sick over it. Anyhow, while I was in the college library making my copies of Veronic's notes, Jessica in the meantime had already left, so I had no ride home. I told my mom I'd give her a call in case I didn't have a ride. Rather than get home early, I just stayed in the writing lab and used the internet. Not much else going on that I can think of. Tomorrow is the Winter Sports Award Banquet. I still haven't decided whether I'm going or not. Tomorrow morning, I'm going to get up early and go to my English 102 teacher's Creative Writing class.

She's having a guest speaker. I'm not sure if I mentioned this or not. The dude that's speaking tomorrow is a '93 grad of Holbrook, a navajo guy. He recently had a book of his poems published by the University of Arizona press, and I think he's still going to U of A. I borrowed my teachers copy of the book last week and read some of his work. Its odd for some reason to me. Anyhow, that class is at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow, so I need my rest. I'll end it here for now. Laterz.
